So Long, February

So Long, February

When days are as beautiful as they were last Monday, you have to get outside. We let our faces, the only skin that we leave exposed, bask in the warmth of the spectacular sunlight and walked just a shade more slowly in order to savor every moment that it lasted.

Despite the snow covered ground, it felt very much like spring. Maybe Maslenitsa heard our call after all. The song birds were chirping, a welcome sound, and mothers were pushing their strollers with an extra bounce in their step. Meanwhile, I became quite snap happy...

I've always admired this building. It overlooks the park and its pale yellow paint looks like butter when it's drenched in the sun.

Well, it's officially March and I'd say it arrived in style. I'll be happy to see more days filled with abundant light, but I'll be sad to see the snow disappear (at least it will be a slow process). I'm curious to see what this month will bring. The year has been off to a pretty stellar start so far.
